Join me on an unforgettable journey through the cultural and natural wonders of Vietnam and Thailand! From the bustling streets of Hanoi to the serene landscapes of Ha Long Bay, immerse yourself in Vietnam's rich history and vibrant craft villages. Explore traditional craft villages and marvel at the beauty of Ninh Binh's limestone karsts.
In Thailand, discover the charm of Chiang Mai's ancient temples, bustling markets, and scenic mountains. Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary and take in breathtaking views from Doi Suthep. We will end our trip in Bangkok with a visit to Bangkok Gem & Jewelry Fair and explore the city’s Grand Palace, spectacular temples, and night markets.

$5500/per person single occupancy
$4500/per person double occupancy (2 beds or 1 bed)
What the price will include (may be subject to change):
*13 nights hotel stay (single and double occupancy options)
*Entry to all attractions and sites listed above, and then some.
*All ground transportation via private van. However, if you arrive outside of the pick-up/drop-off window, you will be responsible to find your way to the hotel. I can arrange for an airport pick-up.
*Boat rides/cruises.
*Flights from Hanoi to Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai to Bangkok. (Does not include baggage fees.)
*Breakfast included everyday at the hotels.
What you should know about this trip
*You are responsible for airfare between Asia and your home country.
*Much of our sightseeing will be on foot once we arrive on location. To reach the top of some temples will require walking up steps. There will be stops at markets almost everyday of the trip. Optional, there will an opportunity for two short hikes, one in Vietnam and one in Thailand.
*There will be a few very early morning excursions (5am).
*Transportation for the entire trip will be by private van service.
*Much of the sightseeing will be outside, be prepared for inclement weather!...oh, and it will be hot!
*Our goal is to enjoy the local flare of the Asia; food, music, art, culture.
*You are responsible for personal travel insurance and travel documentation (a visa will be required to Vietnam prior to arrival).
*Bring "work out" outfit that may be disposed of at the end of the day, we will be getting dirty with the elephants.
*You are welcome to deviate from the itinerary at anytime at your own expense.
*You are not required to climb or hike any of the sites if you do not feel up to it.
*Consider checking the CDC for suggested vaccinations. We will be in close proximaty to elephants.
*Does not include tips for services.
Other important info
*You must arrive no later than September 2, 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam (HAN). There will be a van picking us up from the airport to our first destination.
*Departure is September 15, 2025 from Bangkok, Thailand. (BKK)
*If you are joining us from the US, you must allow 1-2 travel days to reach Vietnam.
Cancellation
*$200 deposit to save your place (applied to the final fee). This deposit will be non-refundable after March 1, 2025.
Payment in full will be requested by May 1, 2025.
No refunds after July 1, 2025.
