    Project Overview

    Whether you are continuing your exploration in enamels or just starting out, this twofer will add to your repertoire of skills. First, you’ll learn how to cut and emboss metal for texture and depth. Then, you’ll learn how to enamel it to add color and pizazz on your boring metal.
     
  • Filigree 101 Filigree 101

    Details

    Level: Intermediate        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    Create delicate works of art with filigree. We will bend, twist and turn sterling silver stock to create an intricate pendant. Students will be challenged to put their creativity into action while continuing to fine tune their skills. Pre-requisite: Must have soldering experience and wire working experience.

  • Twinkle Twist Twinkle Twist

    Project Overview

    In this class, we will make a twist and add a twinkle to create stacking bracelets. You will learn to solder, forge and twist sterling silver.

    Project Overview

    Earring jackets are back in fashion and we have given them a contemporary makeover. No longer reserved for just diamonds, you can use anything from crystals to pearls to silver for studs. Bring your own inspiration to class to design you own jackets.
     
  • Chroniker Chroniker

    Level: Beginner        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    Get started in Metalworking with a timely fashioned pendant. Using mixed metals, you will be introduced to sawing, soldering, and stone setting. Adventurous students will be also be able to put their signature on the piece to create their own flare.  Learn how to solder mixed metals without a mess. Sweat soldering will reduce bleeding of solder onto mixed metals. Additionally, you learn how to cut, shape and forge sterling silver. Put all the pieces together to create these distinctive earrings.

    Level: Beginner        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    Gone are the days of basic surface enameling. We will take the time to create colorful custom designs in enamel, one stroke at a time. Dots, lines, swirls; whatever you like; we will fire it to metal.
     
  • Multiplicity Ring – Solder Workout Multiplicity Ring – Solder Workout

    Level: Intermediate        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    This ring might look simple, but the challenge for this project will be soldering one part of the ring without melting another. We will work through the difficulties of soldering small parts in place while managing not to melt the entire unit. Students much know how to solder silver and make simple rings.

    Project Overview

    This might be a basic soldering class but this bracelet is anything but basic. Designed to teach and beautiful enough to wear. Students need to have some wire working experience before joining this class.
     
  • C.Y.O.D. - Intro to Pick Soldering C.Y.O.D. - Intro to Pick Soldering

    Project Overview

    Broaden your area of expertise with a new discipline: Pick Soldering. We will construct a pendant from scratch while using this technique. Bring your inspiration because you will have the opportunity to Create Your Own Design.
     
  • Riveting Enamels Riveting Enamels

    Level: Beginner        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    Learn enameling and cold connections in one class. You will learn to torch fire enamel on copper and use transparent enamels on silver to create true colors. After firing all the pieces, you will rivet them together. Students will finish at least one pendant.
