Other important information

*Your Group Leader:Kieu Pham Gray will be leading this excursion and will be with the group every step of the way to ensure our adventure stays on track along with our local guide.
*Arrival: You must arrive in Marrakech (RAK) on February 16, 2027. You are responsible for transfer to riad when you arrive in RAK. You may opt to fly into Casablanca (CMN), however you are responsible for transfer to Marrakech by either train or private car.
*Departure: We will return to Marrakech (RAK) on February 28, 2027, you may opt to fly out that evening after 4pm or on March 1, 2027. You are responsible for transfer to RAK from the riad for your return flight. You may opt to fly out of Casablanca (CMN), however you are responsible for transfer from Marrakech by either train or private car.
*Activity Level: The majority of this excursion will be on foot when we arrive at a location. Some of which will be uphill. There will always be the option to "opt out" if you feel that you cannot traverse the locale.
*Accommodations: Pack as compact as you can, as we will be moving between hotels and space is limited. You will only be allowed one carry-on and one check-in.
*Accessibility: There are NO elevators at many of the riads; you need to be able to carry your bags up two or three flights of stairs. Some eateries are on rooftops—again, no elevators.
*Local Flare: Our goal is to enjoy the local flare of Morocco: food, art, culture, and sights.
*Travel Dynamics: We are making a lot of stops! Most drives between cities will be about 3–4 hours, with the desert transit being longer (6.5 hours) to ensure we get deep into the dunes. We will be going into the mountains; it will be windy.
*Logistics: You are responsible for personal travel insurance and travel documentation.
*Communication: You will be required to have an active WhatsApp account and an international data connection to ensure we are in constant communication while overseas. Only using the Wi-Fi at the hotel or local café will not be sufficient.
*We have set our pricing based on current April 2026 fuel and currency exchange rates. Because these factors can be unpredictable, please note that a surcharge may be necessary if fuel costs or currency values shift by more than 10%. We will always keep you updated should any significant changes occur.
