Czechia/Poland Excursion 2026

Join me for an unforgettable excursion through the Czech Republic and Poland! We're diving deep into the local crafts that have made these regions famous: Czech glass and Polish pottery.

Our visit is timed to coincide with two of the most beloved regional celebrations: the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival and Crystal Valley Week!

We'll be right there with the locals, exploring markets, visiting active ceramic and glass factories, marveling at historical monuments, and yes, we'll try our hand at glass blowing! Get ready for an amazing, hands-on trip.

What you should know about this trip

*Much of our sightseeing will be on foot.
*Sightseeing in Jablonec nad nissou will mostly be via passenger van.
*Much of the sightseeing will be outside, be prepared for inclement weather!
*Our goal is to enjoy the local flare of the Czech Republic and Poland; food, history, craft, culture.
*There will be many visits to cafes and bakeries (jus'sayin).
*You are responsible for transportation to and from Prague, Czech Republic.
*You are responsible for personal travel insurance and travel documentation.
*Tips not included. $3-5 for guides, $3-7 per day for drivers.

Other important info

*You must arrive no later than August 22, 2026 in Prague at 8am.
*For those arriving on August 21, 2026 we will be staying at the Holiday Inn Prague Airport overnight. If you prefer to stay elsewhere or will already be in Prague prior to Aug. 21, you will be given the option to remove this hotel option during the final payment.
There will be a van picking us up from the Holiday Inn Prague Airport to our first destination in Poland. ***NOTE: the tour includes one night at the Holiday Inn Prague Airport, however, if you are staying elsewhere beforehand, you have the option to remove this stay. Please let me know. ***
*Departure is August 31, 2026. Hotel check out is 11am. You are responsible for your own transportation to the airport.
*All participants are required to have a data plan throughout the excursion and a Whatsapp account.
*Van space is limited, luggage will be limited to one carry-on and one checked bag. Remember the rule of thumb, if you can not carry your luggage 2 flight of stairs, leave it behind.

Payment in full will be requested by May 1, 2026.

Cancellation and Refunds

*$300 deposit to save your place (applied to the final fee). This deposit will be non-refundable after March 1, 2026.

This excursion is subject to cancel at anytime due to Covid, political unrest, and safety advisory published by the US state department. Our criteria for cancellation will be based on, but not limited to, travel restrictions imposed by either the government of the Czech Republic or Poland. A full refund (minus 3% credit card fee) will be given if any of these conditions apply.

Any refunds given will incur a 3% processing fee.
