  • Set for Royalty - Intro to Bezel Setting Set for Royalty - Intro to Bezel Setting

    Details

    Project Overview

    Create a setting fit for royalty. This introductory stone setting class will add another dimension to your glasswork or any stone. Students will have the opportunity to customize a pendant design to their liking. (Dichro cabachons will vary.) .

  • Twinkle Twist Twinkle Twist

    Project Overview

    In this class, we will make a twist and add a twinkle to create stacking bracelets. You will learn to solder, forge and twist sterling silver.
     
  • Wave Link Wave Link

    Project Overview

    Learn the basic concepts of silver soldering while creating a Wave Link Chain. By the end of this class you will have an understanding of necessary tools and materials to successfully solder simple joints. Students will complete a bracelet by the end of class.
  • Not Fools Gold Not Fools Gold

    Project Overview

    Make 1, 2 or 3 rings using sterling silver and 10kt gold to create a contemporary ring. Students will gain experience creating anticlastic rings, soldering karat gold and small parts, and. Those who work quickly will finish a triple ring.

    Project Overview

    Fresh water pearls, delicately placed on a ring to create a harmonic marriage with silver. Fashioned together through soldering, forging and shaping you will make a statement.

    Project Overview

    Even contemporary rings can be elegant and feminine. Learn to make rings, solder sterling silver and creatively set a brilliant cut gemstone. Students will be taught easy techniques to work around faceted stones.

    Created to tantalize the eye, this class will make the silver spin with a glimmer of gold. Using multiple skills to bring it all together, we will shape and form metal to keep the pieces moving. ring.
     
  • It's So Drilling It's So Drilling

    Level: Beginner        Sessions: 1        Hours: 3 hours

    Project Overview

    Long walks on the beach have yielded pockets full of treasure and nowhere to go but in a jar. Here is a way to turn them into something wearable. This class will offer hands on experience with a flex shaft and how to properly use it to drill glass and stone. (Note: there are no guarantees made as to the completion of project due to the sensitivity of glass. Colors and sizes will vary from sample.) Tools available for purchase from instructor.
     
  • From Bottles to Gems From Bottles to Gems

    Project Overview

    Why recycle when you can upcycle! In this class we turn recycled bottles into glass ballpins. You will learn how to make these great gems on copper wire using a butane and/or propane torch. Students may choose to put their ballpins to use in a piece of jewelry to wear or they may choose to utilize class time to stock up and make as many ballpins as they can.
     
  • Heavy Set - Bezel Setting Cut Stones Heavy Set - Bezel Setting Cut Stones

    Level: Advanced        Sessions: 1        Hours: 6 hours

    Project Overview

    Bezel setting just grew up. No longer reserved for bezel wire this setting will be constructed from heavy silver stock. From there we will work with a series of burs to create a seat to set the stone. You will need to bring steady hands for this project. Students will choose either a pendant or a ring to make.

    Project Overview

    Brilliantly eye catching, dichroic glass glimmers from every angle. Students will be introduced to the process of fusing, handling and cutting glass. A variety of glass will be provided for students to build their own pieces to be used as desired. Pieces will be fused in a kiln at the end of the class and ready for pick up the next day. All glass tools will be provided for use.
